The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) actively promotes transgender ideology, including social transition and medical interventions for children. Additionally, AAP guidance does not default to transparency with parents or guardians, often counseling their minor patients that information shared in their appointment is confidential and will not be shared with caregivers.
