President Trump’s Executive Actions Are Empowering Parents:
Executive orders can initiate sweeping change. With the power of the pen, the President can create new regulations, shape how laws should be interpreted, and address national emergencies. Since taking office, President Trump has used his executive power to sign a bevy of executive orders (EO) that enable parents to choose what is best for their children and to better protect kids.

The following EOs will immediately begin protecting girls in youth sports and curb the number of harmful surgical interventions being performed on children in the name of radical gender ideologies. These orders also signal a change in the education system by fostering merit-based academics and opportunities for children. Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports EO:
This order rescinds President Biden’s dangerous interpretation of Title IX, which opened the door for boys in girls’ sports, locker rooms, and private spaces by scrapping biological sex in favor of “gender identity.” President Trump’s order restores Title IX to its original meaning and intention, which is based instead on biological sex. This means young women will no longer have to unfairly compete against biological men in their school sports leagues.

What This Means for Parents: Protects the sanctity of women’s and girls’ sports is imperative. Girls deserve a level playing field and assurances that only biological females are allowed in their bathrooms, locker rooms, and private spaces.
As American Parents Coalition Executive Director Alleigh Marré recently told Townhall.com, “President Trump’s executive order sends a clear message and is a huge win for restoring fairness in women’s sports. Title IX was meant to protect opportunities for girls, not erase them. Equally important – Parents deserve to have the peace of mind that when they send their daughters to school they will be safe. Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling EO:
This action ensures that federally funded K-12 schools focus on core subjects—math, reading, science, and civics—rather than radical social theories. Schools promoting critical race theory or gender ideology will lose federal funding. Federal funding for education will be used in compliance with laws that protect parental rights and prohibit certain types of curriculum.

Expect changes in curriculum—including the reinstatement of the ‘1776 Commission’ which promotes a patriotic approach to U.S. history—teacher preparations, and school polices that have previously fostered critical race theory and radical lessons regarding sex and gender.

Expanding Educational Freedom and Opportunity for Families EO:
This executive action directs federal funding to follow students rather than school systems, expanding Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), vouchers, and other mechanisms for school choice.
What This Means for Parents: With this order, President Trump has signaled the federal government’s support for school choice, a policy that empowers parents to choose what is best for their children and widely improves educational outcomes. More families will have the option to choose the best path for their children.
Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation EO:
This directive prohibits federal funding for gender transition procedures on children, including puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgeries. It requires federal agencies to ensure that taxpayer dollars are not used to promote or fund these harmful gender interventions for individuals under the age of 19. Additionally, it strengthens legal protections for parents who oppose these procedures for their children and encourages states to adopt similar measures.

What This Means for Parents: This order ensures parents, not activists, make medical decisions for their children and protects children from irreversible procedures until they reach adulthood. Although there is more work to be done at the state level, parents can now feel reassured that schools, healthcare providers, and government programs will not bypass them in pushing gender transition interventions on their children.
